✓ A Brand New Cultivar – Our Chiran Harvest Matcha is made using the Seimei cultivar. Why is it special? It is a new cultivar that was only registered in 2017. But more importantly, it is known for its vibrant green colour, incredible fragrance and very mellow, nutty taste.
✓ A Unique Matcha for Connoisseurs – When prepared as usucha, the Chiran Harvest Matcha froths up beautifully, unveiling an ultra-smooth and creamy texture with interesting notes of nutty umami malt. It boasts a delicate finish, showcasing subtle sweetness and no bitter aftertaste.
✓ Limited Quantities - Because the Seimei cultivar has not yet entered full-scale commercial production, quantity is limited and we sometimes run out of stock. Waiting times may vary depending on the month of the year. Only approximately 150 kg available each year.
